Jeff Kern<br><strong>Date:<\/strong> 6\/22\/2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scripture Reading<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ezekiel 37:1\u20133 (NKJV)<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, &#8216;Son of man, can these bones live?&#8217; So I answered, &#8216;O Lord God, You know.'&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I. They Are Dry as a Bone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Illustration:<\/strong> Experience in Angola in 1995 with ADRA, witnessing the aftermath of war and encountering human skeletons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dry Places on Earth:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Atacama Desert, Chile: No rain from 1570 to 1971.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sahara Desert, Sudan: Frequent Haboob storms blocking sunlight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ezekiel\u2019s Vision:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valley filled with dry bones, symbolizing long-dead, hopeless situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Lord commands Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones, promising revival and life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">II. Can These Bones Live?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ezekiel&#8217;s Response:<\/strong> Acknowledges the power of God to revive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Holy Spirit&#8217;s Role:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Spirit of the Lord brings life to the dry bones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Similar to Genesis 2:7, where God breathes life into Adam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Modern Application:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Churches and believers may appear alive but lack true spiritual vitality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The need for the Holy Spirit to bring true life and power.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">III.
