Definition of the Kingdom of God<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reference<\/strong>: Luke 3:7-10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reflection:<\/strong>\u00a0The Kingdom of God is a natural contrast to the world&#8217;s darkness, and demonstrates the divine desire to foster joy, righteousness, and mercy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Further Study:<\/strong>\u00a0Compare the statement of purpose of Jesus in Nazareth with our mission. Read Prophets and Kings pp. 717-721.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>II. Requirements of the Kingdom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reference:<\/strong>\u00a01 Peter 2:9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reflection:<\/strong>\u00a0Is spiritual lineage different from earthly heritage? What makes us worthy of being called Royal Priesthood?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Further Study:<\/strong>\u00a0Reflect on the recommendation of Paul to the Ephesians to be living as children of light, embodying the values of the Kingdom (Ephesians 5:5, 8-9).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>III. Taking Back the Kingdom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reflection:<\/strong>\u00a0What are the light given to God\u2019s People that are today abandoned or is no longer exclusive to us?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Further Study:<\/strong>\u00a0Consider the Early church work in the social issues. Acts 2:38-47 and Acts 4:32-37. These passages describe the early church&#8217;s transformative effect on society, highlighting communal living, sharing of resources, and the impact of preaching the Gospel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br><strong>Questions for Reflection and Further Study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Our Message:\u00a0<\/strong>How does the history of D.
