• After returning to the U.S., she discovered the Sabbath truth and became one of the first Sabbath-keeping missionaries in Africa.
• Despite her dedication, she was rejected by fellow Adventists when she sought help in Battle Creek.
• She died in poverty and isolation, with her story largely forgotten.
• Ellen White later condemned the church’s neglect, saying Hannah More “died a martyr to the selfishness of the professed commandment keepers.”
